Find your surface direction

From quiet texture to a statement wall.

The right finish is more than a colour. Light, sheen, movement and scale all change how a surface feels in the space.

Venetian plaster & Marmorino

Layered plaster with natural movement, from softly trowelled Marmorino to more polished decorative effects. A considered choice for villa living spaces, reception areas and hospitality interiors.

Searching for Marmorino paint or polished plaster? Send us the look you have in mind so we can discuss the actual finish system and sample.

Textured decorative paint

Soft mineral effects, layered textures and velvet-like surfaces that give walls character. Colour and application technique are developed around the room, adjoining materials and lighting.

For projects seeking a distinctive surface, rather than a standard flat repaint.

Metallic & light-responsive finishes

Subtle lustre or a more expressive metallic effect for feature walls, lounges, restaurants and reception spaces. We review samples under the intended lighting before agreeing the direction.

Travertine, stone & rock effects

Stone-inspired textures, grooves and sculpted relief for entrances, columns and statement walls. These are decorative surface effects; the texture, scale and detailing are tailored to the design.

Selected SurfaceLab work

Real finishes, seen in real spaces.

Texture is best understood through light, movement and scale. These completed surfaces show the character that samples and reference images alone cannot capture.

Discuss Your Finish Project

Before you send your brief.

What affects the price of decorative paint or plaster?

Surface area, preparation, the selected finish system, colour, detailing, access and programme all affect pricing. Share drawings or approximate dimensions and current site photographs for a more useful scope discussion. A single square-metre rate cannot describe every decorative finish project.

Can you match a reference image?

A reference helps establish the direction, but photographs and screens can change colour and sheen. We use physical samples or mock-ups to agree the appearance, movement and level of variation appropriate to your space.

Is this ordinary painting or paint-product supply?

This page is for managed decorative finish projects: textured paint, decorative plaster and bespoke surface effects. If you are planning a villa, restaurant, hotel or commercial interior, tell us the area and design intent so we can assess the fit.

Can the finishes be used outdoors or in wet areas?

Not every decorative finish suits every setting. Exposure, moisture, substrate and the chosen protective system need to be assessed before a recommendation. Tell us where the surface will be used; we do not treat an interior sample as proof of exterior or wet-area suitability.
