From subtle stone relief to expressive rock forms.

Stone-effect finishes bring depth, irregular contours and natural-looking shadows to walls and architectural features. SurfaceLab develops the texture around your approved sample, the scale of the wall and the aesthetic you want to achieve. A single tone can create a quieter surface; artist-developed colour variation can give a more natural-rock appearance.
Where this finish works in the design
Large feature walls, double-height spaces, restaurant features, entrances and architectural surfaces that need a stronger tactile identity.

Developing your finish
Two approaches are available: silicone-moulded pieces with concealed joints, or cementitious material sculpted on site. Moulded pieces are generally more economical and around 0.5–3 cm thick, with a repeating pattern. On-site sculpting offers greater freedom of movement and depth.
Choosing the right direction
Deeper features can use lightweight foam below the cementitious outer layer. A 3–25 cm overall build-up refers to the complete feature, not solid cement. A protective sealer completes the finish, and routine care can include cleaning with a damp cloth.

From reference to final review
SurfaceLab brings finish selection and hands-on project management together for villas, hospitality and commercial spaces in Dubai and across the UAE. We review the references, approximate areas, surface conditions and programme, then develop the colour and texture through an agreed sample. Specialist work and finish-quality reviews are managed against the approved direction.
Pricing depends on the area, preparation, access, detailing and finish complexity. Any sample or mock-up costs are agreed in advance. Share your location, dimensions, reference images and target timing so we can discuss the right scope.
