Polished plaster creates a smooth, layered surface with movement revealed by light. It suits projects that want the richness of a decorative finish without the joints or veining of stone slabs. The final sheen can be restrained or more reflective, depending on the selected finish and approved sample.

Where this finish works in the design

Villa reception rooms, entrance walls, restaurant features and hospitality interiors where lighting can reveal the surface.

Developing your finish

Agree the level of polish, the contrast between layers and how visible the trowel movement should be. A small glossy sample can feel much more dramatic across a full wall; we consider scale and lighting together.

Choosing the right direction

For a softer, more mineral character, compare Marmorino. For pronounced physical relief rather than reflected movement, explore stone texture.

From reference to final review

SurfaceLab brings finish selection and hands-on project management together for villas, hospitality and commercial spaces in Dubai and across the UAE. We review the references, approximate areas, surface conditions and programme, then develop the colour and texture through an agreed sample. Specialist work and finish-quality reviews are managed against the approved direction.

Pricing depends on the area, preparation, access, detailing and finish complexity. Any sample or mock-up costs are agreed in advance. Share your location, dimensions, reference images and target timing so we can discuss the right scope.
